NMSU football adds 10 student-athletes on National Signing Day

Doug Martin introduces NMSU signees

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The New Mexico State football team has added 10 student-athletes to its 2019-20 roster on National Signing Day.

Of the 10 new Aggies, seven are soon-to-be high school graduates and the remaining three are from the college and junior college ranks.

After wrapping up a strong signing day, head coach Doug Martin thanked his coaching staff for all their hard work and sacrifice to put the class together.

"Also our A.D. Mario Moccia and Assistant A.D. Braun Cartwright who showed up every weekend to meet our recruits & their families on their official visits," Martin went on to say.

Coach Martin said that he feels that he and his team have filled their needs for the immediate future on defense.

"The defensive personnel we are bringing in is the best we have ever signed here. Offensively we added to an already very good wide receiver corps and addressed our future needs on the offensive line and at quarterback. Overall I feel this is the best class we have ever signed and we look forward to being back in another bowl game soon," said Martin.
