Christina Aguayo

Christina Aguayo grew up  in the small town of Elizabeth, Colorado.  Raised on a farm, her parents instilled in her a strong work ethic and provided her a solid foundation in which to lead her life.

Christina knew she had a passion for sports at a young age, and decided to combine that with her love for writing to become a sports broadcaster. Christina's time spent interning at the #1 Station in Denver, Colorado, KUSA-NBC, and the #2 Station, KCNC-CBS, more than prepared her for a successful career in television

Christina spent time as a Sports Director, Sports Anchor, Sports Reporter, Host, MMJ and Videographer at WABG-ABC, in Greenville, Mississippi; WGXA-FOX/ABC in Macon, Georgia; WFFT-FOX in Fort Wayne, Indiana and Buckeye Broadband in Toledo, Ohio.

After six years in the industry, she decided to make the move from sports to news and joined the KVIA team, a new adventure that brings her nearer to family, and a city that is close to her heart: El Paso.

Her family is from Juarez, she has an extended family that lives in the Borderland, and has already fallen in love with both the city, and her new KVIA team.

Christina is excited about her new journey, and hopes to bring as much joy to the Sun City, as it has already brought to her.
