The UTEP Miners (29-7, 12-4 Conference USA) will battle the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (27-9, 12-6 American Athletic Conference) in the WNIT championship game on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Haskins Center, and here is information all fans should know about the game.

The gates will open at 11 a.m.  In an effort to eliminate congestion both pre-game and post-game, tunnel access will be restricted to floor seat patrons, media and credentialed staff members.  All others should enter and exit the arena through the main concourse.

All patrons will be subject to bag checks upon entering the arena.  No outside food or drink is permitted in the Haskins Center.

It is suggested that fans leaving the Don Haskins Center utilize Oregon Street as an alternative traffic route.

The game is sold out.  It will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network, and the live video stream will be blacked out on utepathletics.com per CBS.  Fans can listen to the game on 1150 AM in El Paso, or for free nationwide on www.kfox1150.com.

A special halftime performance is planned for Saturday’s game.
