EL PASO, Texas - Parkland High School is home to the leading rusher in the entire state of Texas through four weeks.

Deion Hankins has tallied an incredible 1,082 rushing yards in just four contests - more than any other player in the state.  According to MaxPreps, Hankins only trails five players nationally in rushing yards.

And he's only a sophomore.

The superstar running back also won the Borderland Blitz Sweet Play of the Week for week four.  (Click on the video above to see the play).

Hankins has helped the Matadors jump out to a 3-1 record this season.

He will try to lead his team to victory number four on Friday at Hanks.
