Former UTEP basketball star Vince Hunter has impressed so far in three games with the Oklahoma City in the NBA Summer League.
Hunter has tallied 49 total points in only 70 minutes of action in those three games and helped OKC win two of those contests. He's added 18 total rebounds in that short amount of time as well.
Hunter's high point total was 21, which came in the first game of the Summer League in a win over Detroit.
On Tuesday Hunter scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to notch his first double-double with the team.
After starring at UTEP for two seasons from 2013-2015, Hunter has spent time in the NBA D-League, where he was named an All-Star in 2016. Additionally, he has played recently for professional clubs in Russia and Greece.
The Thunder will continue Summer League action on Wednesday at 11 a.m. MST against the Dallas Mavericks. That game will be televised on NBA TV.
