Former UTEP running back Aaron Jones told Sirius XM NFL Radio that the Dallas Cowboys have shown him the most interest of any team so far.
Jones confirmed that he has had private workouts with the Saints, Eagles, Cowboys, and 49ers thus far, with the Cowboys appearing to be the most interested party. He also reportedly has a closed-door workout scheduled with the Houston Texans.
Jones is currently projected to be a sixth or seventh round pick in this year's NFL Draft, which begins on April 27 and continues through April 29.
The Cowboys currently have one pick in the sixth round and two in the seventh round.
Jones rushed for a school-record 1,773 yards last season for the Miners, averaging a whopping 7.3 yards per carry.
The former UTEP star ran a 4.56 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine to go along with a 37.5 inch vertical jump.
