Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook will be a game-time decision to play Thursday night against the Miami Heat after practicing with the Thunder on Wednesday.

Westbrook, who is has been sidelined since Dec. 26 after a second arthroscopic procedure on a knee, participated in full-contact drills for the first time.

"He practiced today," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. "It's the first time he went hrough a practice in its entirety. We'll see how he feels tomorrow."

The 24-year-old Westbrook was averaging 21.3 points and 7.0 assists in 25 games this season before the injury. He had come back after undergoing knee surgery last season.

Thunder teammate Kevin Durant said earlier that he expects Westbrook to play Thursday night against Miami.

Since Westbrook went down in December, the Thunder have gone 22-8 and lead the Western Conference by 3 1/2 games. The team was 21-4 before Westbrook was hurt.
