The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they traded left tackle Bryant McKinnie to the Miami Dolphins for a conditional late-round draft pick.
Baltimore benched McKinnie after acquiring Eugene Monroe earlier in the season. Miami is in need of offensive line help as quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been sacked more times than any quarterback in the league. Left tackle Jonathan Martin and right tackle Tyson Clabo have combined to allow 14 sacks.
McKinnie told NFL.com that he is excited to return to Miami, where he played collegiately.
McKinnie was the seventh overall pick in the 2002 draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He joined the Ravens in 2011.
