Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel has decided to set his own schedule for throwing in front of NFL talent evaluators.
Instead of throwing for scouts on Texas A&M's Pro Day workout on March 5, Manziel will put himself on display for NFL observers on March 27, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Manziel has not declared whether he will throw at the NFL Scouting Combine.
The decision to delay his personal audition for NFL scouts suggests that he wants to do some fine-tuning before he displays his passing mechanics.
Manziel has been working with George Whitfield on his passing technique, and apparently wants to take some extra time so he can be completely prepared.
