EL PASO -

The 2013 El Paso Street Fest drew thousands who celebrated in a space blocked off near the old city hall site.

The bass player from Third Eye Blind, Alex LaCavalier, says he chose playing music over ice hockey while in his youth because, "my family moved us to the desert."

The 10 million copy-selling band headlined Saturday night's version of Street Fest.  On Friday night, the British rock band Bush headlined, playing on the main stage.
