EL PASO, Texas -

The free Movies on the Lawn series takes place at about 8:30 p.m. on either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

"Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" will be shown Thursday, July 3.

Movie start times are determined by sunset and subject to change without prior notice.

Movies on the Lawn whill be at Kidd Field, which is located on the north end of campus adjacent to the intersection of Randolph Drive and Robinson Avenue.

The venue is ADA accessible and all films will have closed captioning.

There will be weekly giveaways for the first 100 people.

And if you got a hankering for a snack and drink they will be selling $5 movie combos that include a hot dog, small soda, and popcorn.

Alcohol, glass containers, and pets will NOT be allowed at Movies on the Lawn.

For visitors to the UTEP campus, parking is available at the UTEP Sun Bowl Parking Garage or in the P-8, P-9, P-10, P-11 and P-12 parking lots. For a complete listing of all on-campus parking options, see the “Visitor Parking” section at parking.utep.edu.
