UTEP's email system, website down today through Sunday for planned maintenance

EL PASO, Texas - Beginning on Friday, Dec. 27 through Sunday, Dec. 29, all UTEP email will be down and unavailable.

This means no email can be sent from addresses. Incoming email sent to a email address will be stored and then delivered starting Monday, Dec. 30.

Anyone who sends an email to a address between Dec. 27 and Dec. 29 will receive a reply notifying them of the temporary outage.

Also down during this period will be the University's website,, and all affiliated web pages, as well as the Banner student information system.

These are planned outages by Information Technology Services and its electrical contractor to upgrade power distribution systems and power supply systems.
