Trump administration rescinds DACA program

LAS CRUCES, NM - The termination of DACA puts 800,000 youth and their families face-to-face with personal, economic  and educational uncertainty according to the New Mexico Dream Team.

The New Mexico Dream Team or NMDT is the largest youth-led immigrant organization in the state of New Mexico, is asking our allies to rise up alongside us during this urgent time.

The organization says the community is experiencing anger, fear and frustration. And despite this difficult time, will continue to educate, mobilize and organize to channel this outrage into action and empowerment.

The NM Dream Team & United We Dream is  planning a Statewide Student WALKOUT on Tuesday September 5th. They are mobilizing over 20 schools across New Mexico to take action in Las Vegas, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Anthony, NM.
