U.S. Marshals are looking for an inmate who walked away from La Tuna early Sunday morning. This is just over two weeks after two other inmates walked away from the same prison. It's unclear if the previous two were found.
Michael Alan Castro was discovered missing from the minimum security federal prison camp around 12:45 a.m. Officials did not initially provide a photo of Castro.
Castro was serving a 30 month sentence for "Conspiracy to Possess With Intent to Distribute 100 Kilograms of Marijuana." He's described as a 34 year-old Hispanic male, standing 5'9", weighing 201 pounds.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the inmate is urged to call the U.S. Marshals Service at (915) 534-6779.
