El Paso Sheriff's Office Arrest 9 In Prostitution Sting
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office Strike Team arrested nine people during a two-day prostitution sting operation. Strike Team members set up in area hotels and contacted various on line ads that advertised escort services. The sheriff's office said that in all, nine people agreed to meet with undercover deputies. The meetings took place in hotel rooms and agreements would allegedly be made to exchange sexual acts for money. Strike Team members would then go in and make arrests. Assisting in the operation were members/agents of the Department of Homeland Security/ICE.
