KVIA-TV is looking for a Director of Sales, who is highly motivated with a proven record of success, to oversee Sales revenue for its television and web properties.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Managing inventory; evaluating pacing; developing sales strategies; supervising and evaluating performance of the Sales team; evaluating station revenue performance against the market; maintaining rate cards; focusing on New Direct business; defining commission structures and overseeing the budget process. This position is also responsible for all National negotiations and strategy with the National Rep firm, while also overseeing the Commercial Production and Traffic Departments. The Director of Sales also handles inventory control and pricing; making local contacts and approving orders for processing. The ability to motivate, manage, and develop local/national sales representatives is essential.

The successful candidate will have 5 to 10 years experience in a Broadcast television sales management role and a highly motivated personality with great interpersonal skills. Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must. Proficiency in WideOrbit, Efficio, One Domain are preferred.
