Chihuahuas' Cody Decker appears on Keith Olbermann show; host pledges to match

EL PASO, Texas - El Paso Chihuahuas player Cody Decker continued his charm offensive, this time on Keith Olbermann's TV show on ESPN on Wednesday night.

Decker and Olbermann talked about Decker's pranks on former teammate Jeff Francouer and the Chihuahuas popular dog face jerseys worn at Bark at the Park on Aug. 3, 2014 at Southwest University Park.

The team's game-worn jerseys from that day were auctioned off and earned about $13,000 with Decker's earning the most - $2,000.

"That's actually four times what the Padres paid to sign me out of UCLA," Decker said.

Olbermann reiterated on air that he will donate to the Humane Society of El Paso.

"I'll match it and we'll give half to the Humane Society in El Paso and half to a no-kill shelter," Olbermann said on air.

Olbermann thanked Decker and the Chihuahuas for the fun they've provided this season.

"We've gotten more fun out of the El Paso Chihuahuas, between that and your movies, than probably all of the major league teams put together," Olbermann said.
