EL PASO -

Two men involved in an early morning fight that ended with a stabbing did not wish to file charges, police said.

Officers responded to a fight about 2:45 a.m. at the De Soto Hotel in Downtown El Paso. Police said a 28-year-old man and a 33-year-old man were arguing before the older man was stabbed in the arm and stomach.  He was taken to University Medical Center.

The younger man was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police said neither man wanted to press charges.
