Update: Fort Bliss Adopt-A-Soldier program has reached its 2012 goal
Nov. 14, 2012 update: Registration for the Adopt-A-Soldier program for Thanksgiving has closed as the goal has already been reached.
Previous story: The Fort Bliss Adopt-A-Soldier program is underway this year and gives El Pasoans and Team Bliss families a chance to "adopt" single Soldiers and soldiers separated from their families during the holiday season.
If you are a Fort Bliss Soldier and you are not going home for Thanksgiving or you are a family of a deployed Soldier and you are staying in El Paso, this program is for you.
If you are an El Paso family, business, or simply a caring citizen, this program gives you the opportunity to get into the holiday spirit and support our Soldiers. This program allows you to give back.
