Two stabbings in the lower valley happened only blocks from each other early Monday morning, but police have not been able to establish a link.

Police say the first stabbing was reported at the intersection of North Loop and Carolina around 1:30 a.m. A few minutes later, another stabbing was reported at Paulina's Badlands Bar, which is off North Loop and Franklin.

Police say a fight had broken out in the bar and nobody was cooperating with their investigation.
