Suspicious car fires under investigation in central El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -

Several cars went up in flames behind a central El Paso auto shop Monday night. The incident happened just after 11:30 p.m. at Navarro's Auto Shop near the intersection of Yandell and Copia.

Three cars and an SUV were destroyed by the flames. Fire officials say the situation looks suspicious, but won't confirm at this point whether the fire was caused by arson. Damages are estimated at $50,000.
