Police: Woman Suspected Of Driving Drunk With 4 Children In Car

Police arrested and charged a 27-year-old woman who is suspected of driving while intoxicated with four children in her SUV.
Lucia Pichardo was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban at North Loop and Americas on Saturday just after 11 p.m. when she hit another car that was at the gas pump at a Circle K store on the 700 block of Americas, police said.
Officers said they found that Pichardo was intoxicated and also had four children in the car with her, ranging from a 3-month-old baby to a 5-year-old.
Officials said Pichardo also had three outstanding Municipal Court warrants. Her bond was set at $5,747.
