Morrissey postpones El Paso concert, U.S. tour due to mother's illness
Morrissey has postponed his fall U.S. tour, including a Nov. 27 stop at Tricky Falls, to remain in England because his mother is ill, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.
A spokeswoman at concert promoter Goldenvoice annnounced the postponement.
The El Paso concert date was close to selling out.
The singer plans to reschedule all affected shows, and Goldenvoice advises that fans should hang onto their tickets as new dates are expected shortly.
Concert dates in mid-to-late December in New Zealand and Australia are still on, according to Pollstar, a concert industry publication.
