ABC News anchor Sam Donaldson is scheduled to speak Tuesday afternoon on the UTEP campus.

Donaldson, a 1955 graduate of Texas Western College (now UTEP), will deliver a lecture called, "The Road to the White House."

Donaldson served as ABC News' chief White House correspondent from 1977-1989 and from 1998 to August of 1999. He has reported from almost every single presidential convention since 1964. Donaldson also co-anchored "This Week," ABC's Sunday morning news talk show, with Cokie Roberts for six years.

Donaldson's lecture is part of the Millennium Lecture Series at UTEP. It will be held at 5 p.m. in the Undergraduate Learning Center (UGLC), room 106. It is free and open to the public.
