EL PASO, Texas -- Many people are still talking about Kim Kardashian's visit to the Sun City last week.

While many of them are happy with the reality star's stop in the sun city, others don't think they got their money's worth.

Last Friday, Kardashian was here as part of a fashion show to raise money for domestic violence.

But some, well, they just expected more from the larger-than-life TV personality.

The reality star arrived fashionably late for her appearance at Wet Ultra Lounge Downtown.

That's right, for her appearance.

Kardashian was never supposed to give a speech or talk to media, even though, local media -- including ABC-7 - were promised access to talk to the star by the promoter.

"I'm very grateful to be here," a Kardashian fan said at the club.

While many fans were excited just to get a glimpse, others were extremely disappointed.

"I couldn't see her at all, it was only a silhouette, there was too many cameras flashing and everything," one fan said.

Another fan said he didn't have much luck getting a look at Kardashian either.

"I tried, but all I got was a little hair flip," the fan said.

Fans paid $40 at the door for general admission tickets and others paid $100 to sit in a VIP area catered by Tara Thai.

The event's promoter and organizer, Rosie Galvan would not discuss the specifics of Kardashian's contract but did tell ABC-7 the reality star fulfilled her contractual duties.

In a statement, Galvan said, "We promised a launch party hosted by Kim Kardashian with a fashion show included as entertainment prior to her arrival. Per contract Kim Kardashian fullfilled her obligations." Read the full statement here.

ABC-7 dug up a report in April about a similar contract for a Kim Kardashian club appearance in Sacramento.

In the contract, Kardashian gets paid tens of thousands of dollars for 90 minutes of "face time." She also got a hotel suite and the use of a late model S-U-V to get around in. She would receive all of that just for showing up, according to that contract.

Galvan the promoter said she didn't have final numbers for the event just yet, but said a portion will be given to the Center Against Family Violence in El Paso this Wednesday.
