Absentee Voting

Absentee Voting is a 4 step process:

1.       Fill out the absentee application and mail it or deliver it to the County Clerk’s Office.

2.       If you qualify for Absentee Voting, the County Clerk’s Office will mail you your absentee ballot beginning on May 6, 2014. If you do not qualify the County Clerk will mail you a letter explaining why.

3.       When you receive your ballot, fill out all the paperwork and the ballot. Using the envelopes provided, mail everything back to the County Clerk’s Office.

4.       The County Clerk’s Office will then record the date and time it was received and store your ballot until Election Day when the Absentee Precinct Board will count all accepted absentee ballots.
