2 City of Socorro employees arrested

EL PASO, Texas -

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office arrested two City of Socorro employees Wednesday.

Richard Gutierrez, a maintenance supervisor for the City of Socorro, was arrested on two counts of theft of city property. He allegedly stole several stop signs belonging to the City of El Paso.

Armando Mapula, a maintenance employee for the City of Socorro, was arrested on a charge of theft. Both were booked into the El Paso County jail.
