Sheriff's Office launches free spay and neuter program

EL PASO, Texas - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has launched a free Spay and Neuter Program  for residents of El Paso County.
 
The program was made possible as a result of an Animal Control Services contract between Horizon City, Vinton, Socorro, Anthony, Clint, San Elizario and the Sheriff's Office.            
 
Residents of the municipalities participating can attend one of the following dates and times to have their cat or dog spayed or neutered free of charge:
 
Friday, September 15, 2017 - AM Session Only
Horizon City Walmart (Parking Lot)

The Sheriff's Office say only residents who reside in Horizon City, Vinton, Socorro, Anthony, Clint, or San  Elizario are eligible.  

Residents who reside in in the City of El Paso and unincorporated areas of the County, like Montana Vista, Agua Dulce or Sparks, DO NOT qualify for this program.

Arrive early to ensure that they reserve a spot for surgery.  

Tell the veterinary staff that they are participating in the El Paso County Spay and Neuter  Program at time of registration.   

Have proof of residency in one of the six qualifying municipalities (Valid ID, DL, Utility Bill, etc.).

Sheriff's Office Animal Control Officer will be on-site to verify the address is within one of the six municipalities.
