EL PASO, Texas -- Judge Gonzalo Garcia met Tuesday with defense attorneys and prosecutors involved in the David Marmolejo murder case, a court clerk confirmed.

No details on what was discussed were available since a gag order is in place. Marmolejo is accused of strangling his mother in July and dumping her body in the Santa Teresa desert.

A pre-trial hearing for Marmolejo is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Dec. 15.
