LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information that helps identify three young men who allegedly fired shots at Picacho Middle School.

The suspects, possibly teenagers or young adults - were together Oct. 7, 2017  when one of them  damaged at least four windows at the school, police said.

Police learned that shortly before 4 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, three young men were loitering at Picacho Middle School when one of them allegedly used a handgun to fire two rounds toward the school's main entrance.

Police said the rounds damaged four windows at the entryway. Damage to the school is estimated at approximately $2,000. The suspects were last seen walking east toward Moon River Loop.

The incident was captured on surveillance video.

Anyone with information that can help identify any of the three suspects is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You do not have to give your name to collect a reward.
