Couple rob women at gunpoint at McDonald's drive thru, police say

EL PASO, TEXAS - Two women in a vehicle at a McDonald's drive thru lane were assaulted after one of them accidentally honked her vehicle's horn, police said.

The alleged assault happened at the McDonald's on the 1100 block of Yarbrough shortly before 3 am Wednesday.

Police say the women were behind a vehicle in which 26-year-old Jaime Flores and 27-year-old Vanessa Sanchez were riding in.

Sanchez was later taken into custody without incident. Both Sanchez and Flores are charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery.

Flores was additionally charged with "Possession of aControlled Substance (Cocaine)" and "Evading Arrest or Detention."
