Police in Las Cruces are looking for a man who robbed the Lohman Foodmart and threatened the clerk with a gun Friday morning.

Police say the robber fled in a car with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Using surveillance video, police were able to spot the car at a nearby apartment complex.

The Las Cruces Police Department SWAT team was called to the apartment complex, where the robber is believed to be hiding.

A Las Cruces police spokesman said a possible suspect has contacted to police and has agreed to meet with investigators.
