14-year-old teen arrested, allegedly exposed himself to school girls

LAS CRUCES - Police have arrested a 25-year-old woman for having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy.

Annette Martinez, of the 600 block of Foster Road, was arrested after Las Cruces investigators learned she was having sex with a boy she was supposed to take care of. Martinez also told investigators she may be pregnant as a result of the relationship.

Martinez is charged with 20 counts of Criminal Sexual Penetration of a Minor, all fourth degree felonies.

Police detectives learned that Martinez was babysitting the boy and his two siblings since June 1, 2008. Martinez told detectives that she engaged in sex with the boy on several occasions beginning July 8.

Martinez remains jailed at the Dona Ana County Detention Center and her bond has been set at $45,000.
