Juarez residents, including the aunt of a 7-year-old killed in Juarez Friday, believe corruption and poverty are fueling increasing violence in Juarez, according to BBC News.
"We have to end corruption, maybe that's the way to finish it," Raul Ramirez Ramirez's aunt told the BBC. Ramirez Ramirez attended Glen Cove Elementary School in El Paso.
The BBC crew also interviewed a businessman and an economic expert who say declining political and economic conditions are at the heart of the drug violence.
