EL PASO, Texas -- Customs and Border Protection officers seized more than 300 pounds marijuana at the Bridge of the Americas Friday afternoon, CBP officials said.

About 2:35 p.m. Friday, an officer noticed something unusual in the floor of a vehicle. A drug sniffing dog alerted officers to drugs in the vehicle, and CBP officers found 91 taped packages of marijuana with a weight of 307 lbs. in the vehicle floor, officials said.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Joshua Mumma of El Paso. He was turned over to Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents and will face federal charges.

Mumma was booked into the El Paso County Jail and is being held without bond.
