OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A former U.S. Army major from Harrah has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for bribery while she was stationed in Iraq.

A federal judge in Oklahoma City sentenced 46-year-old Theresa Jeanne Baker on Wednesday and ordered her to also pay $825,000 in restitution.

Baker was a contracting officer and pleaded guilty last year to taking bribes for steering contracts to Cypress, Texas-based defense contractor Raman International Inc. Officials say they found $245,900 in cash in a shoebox in the attic of Baker's mother's house in Midwest City.

Raman pleaded guilty to bribery last year and agreed to pay a $500,000 fine and $327,192 in restitution.
