LAS VEGAS, N.M. (AP) - Two brothers have been arrested in the slayings of a couple in their Las Vegas home nearly two years ago.

State police say 18-year-old Joebary Vigal and 21-year-old Michael Vigal of Las Vegas were arrested Monday night on charges of homicide, aggravated burglary, armed robbery, tampering with evidence, conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and conspiracy to tamper with evidence.

They were jailed at the San Miguel County Detention Center.

The brothers were arrested in connection with the Dec. 20, 2007, shooting deaths of 24-year-old Damian Lucero-Ortiz and 25-year-old Stephanie Dimas, whose bodies were found in the living room of the home.
