When it comes to the American flag, there are very strict rules about how it can be displayed.

While flying the flag in your yard is great, wearing the flag on your clothing is frowned upon.

The U.S. flag should not be part of a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be attached to the uniforms of some government and patriotic organizations – such as military personnel and policemen.
