Bob was born and raised in El Paso, and has the distinction of being the last baby born at Hotel Dieu Hospital before its maternity ward closed.
He graduated from Andress High School in northeast El Paso, and is currently attending New Mexico State University.
Bob says that people who know him best would say that he is all about music and film. He has sung in school choirs, and even earned a spot in the Texas Boys’ Choir. He also was a member of the Golden Eagle Drumline at Andress.
His love of movies kindled a dream of one day directing and acting in films. Bob is a self-described “news junkie”, whose broadcast experience includes:
KMVR radio, Las Cruces: Morning show host
KVIA-TV, El Paso: Good Morning El Paso producer, 6 pm news producer, 10 pm news reporter, Weekend sports anchor, Weekend morning news anchor, Weekend anchor & weekday reporter.
Bob loves living in El Paso, the culture of the desert southwest, and especially the food!
His father passed away in 1993. His mother, Debbie, lives in El Paso, and works as a trauma nurse at a local hospital. His sister is a professional chef in Phoenix. While Bob is very serious about the news, he loves a good joke and making people laugh.
